The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time Christopher Jacket
I made this jacket for the actor playing Christopher in Curious Incident. I was given the pattern by the Costume Designer, Kevin McCluskey, and I was in charge of making the muslin, fitting and altering the pattern, and final construction of the jacket for the performance.
Starting with the pattern it's from The Green Pepper, it's 122 - Adult's Oregon Jacket. After working with this pattern Green Pepper does a fantastic job with their illustrations and directions, everything was clear, concise, and extremely well illustrated and easy to follow. The paper they use is a nice weight newspaper paper that was much more pleasant to handle than regular tissue. The construction steps and little design details also speak to how much time they spent making sure everything about the garment was thought out and considered. I highly recommend using patterns from Green Pepper.
